The Dinosaur World Play Set & Story Prompt Cards transforms natural and tactile materials into a wonderfully wild landscape ready for dinosaurs, volcanoes and imaginative adventures.
At the centre of the play scene is a natural coffee wood stump, approximately 20 cm high, topped with a mossed wooden slice and a spectacular felt volcano. Because coffee wood is shaped by nature, every stump is unique, with natural variations in shape, size, texture and markings giving each Dinosaur World its own individual character.
Around the volcano, children can create their own prehistoric landscape using palm trees, volcanic rocks and sets of tactile felt rocks. A piece of blue nuno felt becomes a sparkling waterhole, with the included moss arranged around and over the felt to shape the pond's edges. Add the colourful gems to make the water glisten and sparkle.
A 5-piece dinosaur collection is ready to roam through the landscape, gather around the pond, hide amongst the rocks or venture towards the volcano.
The set also includes 12 Dinosaur World Story Prompt Cards, created to inspire a different tale each time. Choose a card, look closely, begin with the story prompt and imagine what happens next.
